今日も基本的には知り合いとの懇談ミーティング。元々関係ある人達なので、懇談と言っても情報更新のミーティングなんだがね。近況交換から、実は仕事のパートナーになる事が判明。縁は大切にしないとね。
Today’s meetings are also up-to-date meetings with people I know. While exchanging updates, we found out common points to collaborate. Well, it is always nice to keep relations.
連絡無しに旧知のLuicに「よう」って言いに行ってみる。LuicはLuicのままで、ワシの誕生日に一緒に日本食屋に行ってから２年経ってるとは信じられなかった。急に夕飯に誘うわけにもいかないので、オススメの飯屋を聞いて別れる。本当はもうちょっと話したかったのだけどね。会社の知人では珍しく、シニカルなジョークが通じる奴だ。
I went to say hello to Loic. Loic is Loic all the time, and I could not believe that two years have passed since we went to Japanese restaurant Le Neko” in Rennes. To be honest, I wanted to talk more with Luic, maybe inviting to dinner, but I should not ask in such a short notice. So, only asked his recommendation for the restaurant and said good-bye. He is the rare person in the company I know who understands cynical jokes.
そして夜、Luicオススメの中世風の雰囲気と料理が食べれる店に突入。倉庫番みたいなのが何人か居て、全く英語が通じなくて、料理も分からない…。しょうがないので御粗末な仏語でオススメを聞いて、そのまま従う事に。あと、ついでにサラダを注文。
In the evening, we went to the recommended restaurant that has mid-century ambient in the centre of Rennes. There were some people look like guardian from the mid-century, who do not understand English, and we do not understand menus in French… 🙂 What I could do was to ask his recommendation with my poor French and just followed. Additionally, we ordered salads.
前菜のサラダが来ました。おいしいですね。メインディッシュの肉のシチューが来ました。「！！！」ス・ゴ・イ・ウ・マ・イ。時差ぼけと風邪気味で、なるべく魚を食べる様にしてたけど、肉料理の想像を絶する旨さに驚愕。写真で伝えられないのが残念。
Salads for aperitif came. Well, they are nice. Main plate, beef stew comes. “!!!!!” It is super delicious. One of the best beef plate I had in my life. Regarding to the jet lag and my cold, I had been choosing Fish plates, but really shocked with the extreme delicious of the beef plate. I should have taken pictures…
満腹。あれ、またサラダが来る。前菜とサラダは別かよ…。すごいボリュームなんですが…。食べきれないです :'( すると、店主が鞭を持って怒りのパフォーマンスを始め、他のお客さんも大笑い。恥ずかしかったけど、隣の家族とかと話すきっかけになれてよかった。
We got really full stomach… “?” Another salad came…?? Putain, aperitif and salads are separate plates… Enormous mountain of salads were in front of us… what do we do about it… When we apologized to the master, he took out a rod, and performed to punish us 🙂 Everyone was laughing at us 🙂 We could chat with a family at the next table, and was really fun.
石壁で背中が寒いので、帰ろうと思ったらマジシャンが入ってきて、手品を始めて帰るに帰れず。折角温かい料理を食べたのに、体が冷えてしまい、折角治った風邪が再発する羽目に。
I was on the wall side, which was made of stones and cooling me. When we were about to go out, a magician came in and started a magic play. My body was really chilled out with the wall, and this will cause my cold to be worse….
料理はすごく美味しかった～。もっとフランス語出来る様になってから、来よう。
Again, plate was super. I should come again when I get to speak fluent French.
